The world just does not fit conveniently into the format of a 55mm camera.

  1. Hi! I like your deviantart photos…and not to be pushy, but I had a thought about your profile there. You said that you can’t draw – this is just a guess, but are you left handed??? Because I am, and I learned completely by accident that I can draw much better if I use my left hand, not my right! (And sorry for the foreign language, but I only know about three words of Swedish.)

    • I can try to draw with my left hand, thank you for the advice! :)

      • Wanted to tell you, I enjoy looking at your drawings. Keep it up.

      • You got my attention. Just one question. Are you interested in doing book covers? Let me know, I have one coming up and I also know a lot of authors who would be interested.
Thank you for displaying the beauty of it all.

  2. Thank you for liking at my blog. I teach drawing. Lesson one – drawing is simply making marks on paper. If you can write your name you can draw. Make a lot of marks on paper. Start with a pencil – use the point, the side. Make lines and shapes. Press harder and lighter. Use big paper and your whole arm, body. If you are able, stand up while you draw. Look at the marks you make and practice… copy anything, start simple, like draw an egg, look at how the light creates shadows on around, under and over the egg. Read Here: http://starbear.wordpress.com/2010/06/06/more-about-the-labyrinth-making-art/

See if the book “Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain” by Betty Edwards is available – great way to learn!
    Keep drawing!

  15. Hey Ziiplight,

I love your photos. I can see from your comments that I’m not the first to ask, but would you be able to help me out with a photo for a book cover?

I’m putting out my first novel as an E-book and I need to create a cover photo. I have a friend who can do all the Photoshop stuff to turn it into a book cover, but I’d love you to create something cool as the photo.Think you might be interested?
If you want to have a look at my writing, you can read the first few chapters on my blog

The novel I’m hoping to publish first in House of Dreams.

    Let me know.

  21. Glad you came across my post at http://www.rantingsofthegrendelkhan.wordpress.com. Thought I would return the visit. Like the Robert Browning post. Take the time to look through the archives on my site, Browning is one of my most favored authors, and a bid influence. You make like “A Modern Day Tragedy”, “Candy Wrapper”, and “Love Immitated” among others.

Like your view of things, good eye.
