The world just does not fit conveniently into the format of a 55mm camera.

About this site

Portfolio, back up, blog, website, call it whatever you want.

I use WordPress as a back up for my photos, this is the only site where the quality don’t change. And I also think it’s pity that they never get publiced, so i do it here to.

I use a Konica Minolta Dynax 5D and i edit my photos in Photoshop Lightroom och Photoscape….Or just Photoshop Cs3

Just because i don’t have watermarks on them don’t mean you can steal them, if you want some of my photos I want you to ask me first, and then get me a link to this, thank you!

Hiya, Thanks for liking my blog post. With regard to your photo copyright, I’d be careful. I only just discovered that one of my photos from Flickr was embedded into various blogs at Tumblr, Pinterest and weheartit, starting from December 2010. This despite similar comments to yours above, and believing the Flickr settngs would protect them. Only way to be sure is not to put things online. To be honest, I don’t believe there is any malice in this reposting, but rather a total lack of understanding and a somewhat thick popular culture of ‘I want it so it’s mine’.

Good luck with the pictures, Jen

    2012/01/07 at 6:54 pm

    • Yeah, i am pretty woried about that…but i am going to mark my photos..soon…I hope they don’t get steled.

      Thank you to! :)

      2012/01/07 at 7:01 pm

    • You’ll also find that even the EFF states that unless specifically copyrighted or specially protected – there is no legal restriction on reposting. Been going through this question for years at the Big Blog I edit.

Saying that, politeness suggests that any request for takedown be honored.

  4. Madeleine, thank you for liking a post in my blog. I have seen your photographs. I liked some of them very much. Maybe in the future we can collaborate. As you’ve probably already noticed, I write my own magazine. Nothing too ambicious. Just something I do for the fun of it. It does take up a lot of my time. I have, in the past, written a couple of stories about Sweden. In fact, on the latest issue (BMR 04) there are 4 articles in which Sweden is mentioned and I am preparing a couple of stories about some exciting new startups…so you never know. I might need your help at some point. For now, though, regards from Spain.

    Beautiful nature shots

I adore the feel you set in your pictures – very Ted Hughes-sian! (Well you a gentler T.H. at least)!

And I agree – they SHOULD be published

  18. Thank you for visiting my blog. Looking over your photos I see we have some similar perspectives on the outdoors. I like how you use depth of field to bring attention to the subject of your images, and your choices between color and B&W. Do you find compositions in winter differ for you from those in summer?

    2012/01/08 at 9:23 pm

    • It’s not much to winter here right now…but I don’t do my pictures as deep as I do the summer pictures, you don’t need that in that way.

  57. I love photography you have done a wonderful job.

    2012/04/06 at 11:46 pm

  58. Protecting your photographs is at best very difficult, with that said, I think that watermarking your photos is the best way to go. People in general won’t copy and post / re post your photos if there is a hard to remove watermark in the middle of the photo, also, Very clearly stating that all photos are copyright protected and including a copyright mark and your name at top or bottom of each photo will prevent ‘most’ people from stealing and using your photos. You may also may want to simply watermark photos with your name to gain public exposure for your photo’s.
    Good luck

    2012/04/30 at 10:12 am

  59. Hello Ziiplight, thanks for visiting my site, the first 2 photographs on this page are my favourites, they are magical! At the moment I don’t have a watermark or copyright printed on my images either, because the web versions are low-res and won’t print well unless tiny… but I think pobept has a good point about using the watermark to get your name out there even more. Will be watermarking mine soon.. just need an afternoon!

    2012/05/01 at 2:46 pm

    • Thank you!
I added watermarks on all of my photos, it took about one week…If you gonna do it you have to do it just after ju have shot it. I like to edit them, not adding watermarks…I still haven’t got anything steeled :)

      2012/05/05 at 9:30 pm
